Science Communication
We show the IEB’s science,
awakening curiosity about our biodiversity.
Communicating science is fundamental to fostering a society with critical thinking and scientific culture and, of course, enriching the decisions made by the people and institutions of our country. For this reason, we work to make visible the science developed by our researchers by integrating different strategic audiences, through activities, products and publications, digital communication and press management, using appropriate formats and languages for each audience and communication format.
Our presence in Social Media is strong, with more than 13,000 followers (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), with some of our publications reaching tens of thousands of people.
On the other hand, our monthly newsletter reaches more than 500 subscribers, and only in 2018 we had more than 750 appearances in the national and international press.
