Eugenia Gayó

PhD in Biological Sciences, Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. She is currently the Director of the Millenium Nucleus UPWELL (Understanding Past coastal upWelling systems and Environmental Local and Lasting impacts).

Research area: She has developed a research agenda focused on the Historical Ecology. By this means, she develops an integrative and fresh perspective to understand how biophysical and social systems from Chile have established feedback relationships from the Tertiary to the Anthropocene
