Dr. Jorge Pérez Quezada
Obtained the degrees of Agricultural Engineering at Universidad de Chile, M.S in Horticulture and Agronomy and Ph.D. in Ecology at the University of California-Davis. Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Renewable Natural Resources, part of the Universidad de Chile’s Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
Area of research: His research focuses on studying biogeochemical cycles, particularly about fluxes of greenhouse gases at natural and managed ecosystems. He also develops research in ecological restoration of Mediterranean mountain ecosystems.
